A wonderful Staunton chess set made by K.P.Uhlig in the early 20th century. According to my original Uhlig catalogue of 1913, this set is a no. 133 in size 1, which is a king size of 68 mm. The pieces are made from bone, one side stained in red. The condition of the pieces is almost pristine, especially the white side with almost no stains, as you often see them in bovine bone pieces due to the structure of the bone material.
