I am aware that most people do not regard the Russian Jantar clock as a worthy collectible. It is not very old, housed in a cheap plastic case and readily available on the market. However, many do not realize that there are some variations of this clock, which are rare, some even extremely rare. The Jantar was also distributed under the names Corsar (in East Germany), VEGA, Monroe and Marathon. In my experience, the Marathon is the rarest of these variations. I have only seen one specimen so far, which I present to you together with its siblings. I wonder if there is anybody else out there, who has all five of them.
