Ivory Staunton Chess Set dating to the second half of the 19th century, one side stained in red, the other side left natural. The set was made in China for the export market. The Kings stand at 3.7" (94 mm). The set is in marvellous condition. The pieces are extremely well crafted with a lot of detail especially on the Knights. I dare say that this set is as good as any original Jaques set or at least it comes very close.
