This small book was published on the occasion of an exhibition in Schloss Philippsruhe from 3 - 31 October 1999 by Museum Hanau. The book is shedding light on two of the country's most well-known manufacturers of cast iron, A. R. Seebaß and E. G. Zimmermann. Part of the book is dedicated to the various cast iron chess sets made by Zimmermann and Seebaß.
